No access to e-journals, databases & some library services: December 13 & 14

BUCS have scheduled urgent maintenance and upgrades to take place over the the weekend, 13th & 14th December. As a result, during this period, you will not be able to access the following:

• The Library's online resources: e-journals, databases, e-books, library website...
• Moodle VLE
• University internal webpages
• Printing on-campus
• Wireless network on-campus
• Campus PCs: including those in the Library, labs & e-lounges

Renewing & reserving/holding items: You will not be able to renew or reserve over this period.

Borrowing items for the first time: you WILL be able to borrow an item for the first time - a book can be issued to you manually at the Main Counter/Issue Desk on Level 2 of the Library.

Advice: All users are strongly advised to take this network shutdown into account and plan ahead to obtain any library materials or use the Library's resources/services in advance.
