Learn how to keep up-to-date with current research in your field of study using new tools and techniques. This session will cover search alerts, RSS newsfeeds & tips for keeping current.
Who's Citing Whom? (for postgraduates and staff)

Thinking about the upcoming RAE? Want to know who's citing articles you’ve written, or trace developments since a particular article was published? Are you about to publish and want to know which scholarly journals are the most popular and the ‘hottest’? If so, find out about citation searching using the Web of Science & finding journal impacts using Citation Reports.
Introduction to Copyright for Teaching and Research (for Postgraduates & Staff)
5th December, 1030-1200: 8W Room 1.33
Confused, concerned or unaware of the rules relating to copying? This aims to show what copying is allowed through current University licences. The session considers use of content from books, journals, web-pages & other media for personal research and group teaching.
